K'naan makes an anthem for the Mother-Land! The message I seem to find from the song itself is a snub, rather mockery towards rappers who glorify gangster personification and and emblazon it as "I have it tough and you don't know anything about it"! When in actuality majority of the so-called gangster rappers are fake or haven't lived in the harsh conditions that Africans face.

Despite subliminally learning this while listening to the song I enjoyed it lol, K'naan got the flow to KA-Boom!, and the beat juss knocks lol!
